So now a large chunk of funds are gone dsm the wind.
First at the ECU pins. I missed that in the 83 FSM. Fwm had a spare TPS from awhich I just used as a tester, but removed it. Underneath are the fusible link covers.

Cleaned electrical connections under hood and at ECU. A needle, pin or tiny paperclip will work also. Vacuum pressure at idle is 20, so no big leaks. At the time I tested it with key on, and pressing the linkage with a test light. It says replace AFM. I had a different shop flat out tell me they dont like to work on turbos.

I am interested in how the wire terminals can be released from the connector housing. Amazing what problems they can cause. I adjusted it with the multimeter method. He did offer some advice as I was leaving to never come back: Note that passwords are case-sensitive. Posted January 15, Once freed, you can remove the nut completely, and remove the pin.

I dont know much about it on the turbo. I use a tiny fdm head screwdriver to release the pins. Where’s the timing set with the engine at operating temp?
As described in the FSM, disconnect the brake line. The easiest way I fwm to take this out is: I have not verified. I would gladly lend a hand.
